Guardian Homes
To assist in our breeding program, carefully selected families may adopt our dogs/puppies while we retain breeding rights. This allows the dogs in our breeding program the individual attention and loving home environment they deserve. We very much appreciate the environments that our guardian homes provide.
Usually, the dog lives with the guardian family until time for them to have a litter (usually about age 1.5 yrs.). They come here to be bred, then stay with their families until about one week before their due date. They stay here at Loveable Doodles through the delivery, and until the puppies go home. After the arranged number of litters (usually 1-4), we pay to have the dog spayed and she is returned to the family for full ownership. Depending on the specific arrangements, monetary reimbursement is usually given to the guardian family with each litter.
The main requirement for being a guardian home is living in the Louisville, KY area. We are very picky about our qualifications.
