Guardian Homes
To assist in our breeding program, carefully selected families may adopt our dogs/puppies while we retain breeding rights. This allows the dogs in our breeding program the individual attention and loving home environment they deserve. We very much appreciate the environments that our guardian homes provide.
Usually, the dog lives with the guardian family until time for them to have a litter (usually about age 1.5 yrs.). They come here to be bred, then stay with their families until about one week before their due date. They stay here at Loveable Doodles through the delivery, and until the puppies go home. After the arranged number of litters (usually 1-4), we pay to have the dog spayed and she is returned to the family for full ownership. Depending on the specific arrangements, monetary reimbursement is usually given to the guardian family with each litter.
The first requirement for being a guardian home is living in Louisville, KY.

TWIXY and EMMA
Twixy is pictured on our website, she is 4 years old. We love her very much and will be sad when she leaves here. However, she has learned to climb our fences.. She can't be contained! She needs to go to a home that will keep constant watch on her when outside. She is a perfect pet, very intelligent, loving, playful, and intelligent. She is completely house trained. She weighs about 28 lbs. We would like to get 2 more litters from her (one per year for two years).
Emma is not pictured on our website--but looks very similar to Twixy. She has never had pups. She is sweet, but is a dominant dog. She doesn't get along well with other dogs during feeding time. But she is great with people. She needs a home without other dogs, and probably would be best to not have smaller children. She is not house trained. We would like to get a few litters from her. However, we've had her bred twice, and she hasn't gotten pregnant. She may not be able.
